As modern communications technology grows ever more sophisticated, the range of skills and tools needed to manage these complex systems is becoming increasingly costly and time-consuming. This is why Brazilian oil and gas company Petrobras chose to have the experts from Tait look after the monitoring, maintenance and performance reporting of their P25 radio network.
Petrobras chooses Tait for Network Support Services
Tait mobile radio networks, equipment and multi-bearer convergence technologies are used by first-responder organisations throughout Central and South America.
Petrobras – the largest oil and gas company in Brazil – already uses P25 radio networks from Tait at five of its large petrochemical refinery sites in Brazil, and chose to partner with Tait again to support those networks with a monitoring, maintenance and performance-reporting service.
Until now, there has been little choice available to customers in the region seeking around-the-clock quality support. As a result, the tariffs have been among the most expensive in the world. In entering the services market, we aim to lift the quality of service and to do that in a cost-competitive way.
The principal service centre from which the Tait team operates is based alongside the Tait commercial office in Sao Paulo, with technical support available regionally to quickly respond to any issues.
“We are extremely pleased to now offer network-monitoring and support services and to have such an illustrious customer as Petrobras come aboard as our foundation customer,” says the Managing Director of Tait Brazil. “It is gratifying to have this confidence shown in our capability.”
Offering Around-the-Clock Quality Support Services
At Tait, we’re confident that the quality of monitoring, advice and reporting of the new offering is more than equal to any alternative available in the region, and we look forward to providing more Tait support services to other companies in need of expert assistance with their communications networks.
“Until now, there has been little choice available to customers in the region seeking around-the-clock quality support,” Tait Brazil comments. “As a result, the tariffs have been among the most expensive in the world. In entering the services market, we aim to lift the quality of service and to do that in a cost-competitive way. I look forward to speaking to anyone interested in learning how we may help them.”
