Tait Blog Terms of Use
By reading, accessing or posting information or material on the Tait Blog (Blog), you:
(a) acknowledge that you have read and understood these Tait Blog Terms of Use (Terms); and
(b) agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Blog. Tait may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Blog constitutes your acceptance of the amended Terms.
General
The Blog is a place for individuals to share their interest in radio communications technology with other users of taitradio.com.
The Blog allows for public discussion of radio communications and technology related ideas, facts and opinions. The Blog may include secondary information and should not be used as an accurate, or the sole, source for communications information.
Our rights
Tait shall have the right in its sole discretion to refuse to post, to edit or to remove any information or material posted on the Blog including any material that Tait, in its sole discretion, considers to be in breach of these Terms, objectionable or inappropriate in any way. Tait may terminate your access to the Blog, including if Tait considers that you have breached these Terms.
You grant Tait a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to republish, in any format, any information or material you post on the
Blog
By posting information on the Blog, you consent to Tait collecting and storing your email and personal details for security purposes and to clarify queries Tait have with your comments. For more information on the privacy policy please click here.
Your rights and obligations
You may only post information or material that is appropriate for general readership and which relates to communications solutions and technology.
You warrant that you own the intellectual property rights in all information or material that you post on the Blog, and that your posting of that information or material on the Blog, and our using it in accordance with these Terms, will not infringe any right (including intellectual property rights) of third parties.
You must not post any information or material on the Blog:
(a) that is defamatory, obscene, objectionable, inappropriate or offensive; or
(b) which you know or suspect (or ought reasonably to have known or suspected) to be false, misleading or deceptive.
You may not, without Tait prior written consent, use the Blog for any commercial purpose, including to advertise or sell a product or service, or to advertise or direct activity to other websites. Any information or material posted on the Blog should follow generally accepted online community board etiquette, e.g. you should not use text messaging short forms or type in CAPITAL letters (which is considered shouting).
Please be aware that if you disclose personal information on the Blog that information may be used by others.
Disclaimer and indemnities
Due to the nature of the Blog, Tait is unable to ensure the accuracy of any information or material posted on it. Given this, Tait does not warrant (expressly or impliedly) the accuracy or completeness of that information or material.
Tait and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates and volunteers exclude all liability and responsibility to you (and to any other person) in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise for any loss, damage, claim or expense resulting, directly or indirectly, from the use of, or reliance on the Blog, from any information or material posted on the Blog, or from any omission from that information or material.
You indemnify and hold Tait and its and its officers, directors, employees, related bodies corporate and volunteers harmless from and against any liability, loss, damage, claim or expense incurred by any of them as a result of or in connection with:
(a) any breach by you of the Terms;
(b) reliance by you on any information or material posted on the Blog;
(c) your access and/or use of the Blog; and/or
(d) any reliance by any person on information or material that you have posted on the Blog.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the law in force in New Zealand. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts for any proceedings in connection with these Terms or the Blog. If any part of the Terms are found void or unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of the balance of the Terms.
For the exclusive benefit of Tait, Tait shall retain the right to bring proceedings as to the substance of the matter in the courts of the country of your residence or the country of your principal place of business.
